Brian Bissonnette’s Dynamic Professional Roles Part 2

Brian Bissonnette has held many positions throughout the course of his outstanding career. His work ethic has allowed him to excel in countless roles. Here is the second set of Brian Bissonnette's esteemed professional roles.


Brian is the department chair and a professor of military Science-Southern University and A&M College, which is a position he has held since 2013. He maintains the role as the Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) leadership advancement program's chief instructor and central manager. 

This position has allowed him to become a mentor for numerous young people who strive to become competent Army leaders. Brian Bissonnette handles a wide range of management duties, including program development, fundraising, program advertising, admissions, recruiting, and management processes.

He also operates with colleagues to allocate university and program resources and organize special events. He aims to operate in pursuit of fostering a robust educational atmosphere that introduces young adults to real-life challenges.

Brian Bissonnette majored in history during college and received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green University in the state of Ohio in 1991.

Brian Bissonnette pursued his master's degree at United States Army Command and General Staff College, Ft. Leavenworth. He did his graduate thesis on the subject of the Angolan civil war.

What You Should Know About Brian Bissonnette

Brian's primary objectives are to raise his daughters, become a successful Orlando real estate agent, and have a wonderful life.

Brian Bissonnette earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 1991. He then went on to earn his master’s in strategic studies at U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 2008. While pursuing his graduate degree, he completed his master’s thesis on the civil war in Angola.

Brian Bissonnette was the mission commander of 23 cadets and five cadres on a trip to Angola in the summer of 2015. During this trip,  his team facilitated the learning of the English language to various groups throughout the country while simultaneously teaching the cadets about the history and current climate in the country of Angola.

Throughout the duration of his career, Brian has received many awards for his service, such as:
